Project Quantity Surveyor (RC Frames)

Docklands, London £60k to £70k + Car (Or Allowance) + Package + Bonus.

We have a role for a Project Quantity Surveyor on a substantial, high rise RC frame in Docklands.

The scheme is a large, residential development and the successful candidate will be responsible for all site-based commercial activities on the behalf of the frame contractor, a highly respected and successful £50m turnover specialist.

Duties will include measurement, take offs, variations, valuations and applications on £10m worth of work so applicants must display at least five years’ post graduation experience with one or more of London’s RC Frame / Groundworks contractors.

The position has been brought about by the award of four large schemes with more expected next year so long term prospects are excellent and the company offers well appointed offices in a riverside location with a gym and restaurant so working conditions are excellent and staff turn over low..

Senior Site Manager (Commercial New Build)

Blackfriars, London EC4. £70k + car and package

We are looking for a Senior Site Manager for a £20m Commercial New Build project near Blackfriars, in the City of London. About to start, it comprises a six storey steel frame, shell + core and CAT B fit out.

 The role itself is with is with a long established, Dublin-based main contractor whose central London office is responsible for a varied portfolio of £10m to £30m projects including; offices (new build + fit-out), sports facilities, schools and residential. Reporting to a resident Senior Project Manager, the position would best suit a Senior Site Manager who has already delivered a number of projects from start to finish and is now looking for a career opportunity with a successful, expanding firm with a full order book.

Prospects are excellent and starting salary package includes a basic of £70k with car and package.

We are looking for a Finishes Manager on a large student accommodation project in Hounslow, West London.

 The role is with a leading, regional main contractor, active throughout the capitol and the southeast of the country so, long term, the successful candidate will be offered similar, quality projects in the area. Reporting to the scheme's Senior Construction Manager, you will be required to programme and supervise the operations of all finishing trades from 1st fix joinery to partitioning, electrics, tiling, painting and carpets. We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on the behalf of a £50m turnover RC Frame specialist based in Docklands, London.

The role will see the successful candidate report directly to the firm’s Commercial Manager, taking full commercial responsibility for high rise schemes each around £10m in value, also supervising the activities of junior staff.

Essential to the role is 10+ years’ post graduate experience of preparing site accounts and securing payment from main contractors and self build developers on substantial volume housing projects in Greater London.

Senior Project Manager

Park Royal, London W5. £100k to £120k + Car (Or Allowance) + Package + Bonus

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the production team on a three-block, 800 unit, flagship residential development on the old Guinness Brewery site in Park Royal, London W5.

A joint venture between our client, a developer with a successful, 55 year history with a leading housing association, the development has been designed by Allies and Morrison Architects with units being constructed to an excellent standard for a mixture of private sale and shared ownership. The largest tower is a 27 storey landmark and it is therefore essential that candidates are experienced in the delivery of 20+ storey RC frame towers and previous experience of schemes around 30 storeys is preferable. The successful candidate is likely to be a civil engineer by training and will report to a resident Project Director, managing the activities of a large team comprised of site managers, design managers, quantity surveyors and a document controller. Expectations will therefore be high but starting salary and forward opportunities, given a healthy pipeline of other landmark schemes, are designed to attract the best in the industry.

Senior Estimator (RC Frames)

Gallions Reach, London E16 Salary up to £100k

We have a role with a thriving, £50m a year turnover, Docklands-based RC Frame subcontractor for an Estimator. Working in a small, close-knit team, the role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a refreshingly autonomous capacity, taking personal ownership of the first principles pricing of RC Frame works from £5m to £10m in value. 

Projects are generally undertaken on the behalf of leading developers and main contractors including Galliford Try, Higgins and Taylor Wimpey so you can look forward to a sustainable workload of landmark schemes up to 40 storeys in height.

Quantity Surveyor

Caterham, Surrey. Salary up to £65k

We are looking for a main contractors' Quantity Surveyor due to the award of further new-build residential contracts with Housing Associations throughout Central and South London.

Profitable and turning over £50m pa, my client is known for its supportive, collaborative culture, resulting in enviably low staff turnover so frequently attracts Quantity Surveyors and other professional staff who have worked for Tier One Contractors but are now looking for something less corporate. The successful candidate will report to the long-standing Commercial Director of this well-resourced, near 100 year old company, based in a well-appointed office, a stone's throw from junction 6 on the M25.

Projects are in the £3m to £15m range, undertaken to traditional as well as JCT D&B forms of contract and are generally secured on a two stage basis so candidates will be expected to be currently working in the Southeast on the behalf of a main contractor with a similar project portfolio. We are looking for a main contractor's Senior Site Engineer who will report to a Project Manager on a structural, cut & carve refurbishment to yield a 5 storey office near Old Street, London EC1.
